FARRAH GRAY
Raised in the projects of Chicago, Farrah Gray has emerged as a succesful African American entrepreneur. Ever since he was a youngster, he always had an interest in business. When he was just 6 years old, Gray began selling body lotions from door to door.
At the age of 8, Gray founded the Urban Neighborhood Economic Enterprise Club (UNEEC). By the time he was 12, he already had a nationwide speaking career making $5,000 to $10,000 per appearance. Gray became a self-made millionaire at the age of 14, when he sold his food company, Farr-out Foods, for $1.5 million.
This made him the youngest African American to become a millionaire.
After this accomplishment, Gray started New Early Entrepreneur Wonders (NE2W) and aquired INNERCITY magazine at the age of 16. Now in is twenties, Gray has achieved more than many will experience in their entire careers.
