BUSINESS CHECKLIST
Here's Cashtown University's list of some things you might need before you start a business. Most businesses need all of these things, but depending on your business, you might be okay without a few of them.



A COMPUTER / INTERNET

Every business should be availible on the internet, even if you're just trying to stay local. If your not on the internet, its almost as if you dont exist.


A PHONE

Your customers and clients should be able to reach you by phone, even if you already have an email account at which they can reach you. A phone is the most common form of communication.


ORGANIZATION

Your business needs to be organized. No matter how small your company is, you need good organization or else you'll have trouble finding important things the momment you need them.


A COMFORTABLE WORK ENVIRONMENT

The area in which you produce your work or work on your business must be comfortable. If your not comfortable working, your business won't be as good as it's capable of being.


RESOURCES

You need some way to research your competitors as well as find information related to the work you're doing. You must be up to date with the world around you.


NECCESSARY SUPPLIES

Depending on your business, you'll need supplies to keep it running. That might be the products you'll be selling, the supplies needed to create your items, or just some office supplies. Most businesses need at least the office supplies. Make sure you have all the supplies your business needs.


A NETWORK / TEAM

No matter what your business may be, you must have connections with other people. You can get some help and advice from others who have already launched successful businesses or find people who would like to do business with you. Try to build a network or a team of people that can help improve your business.


TIME AND DEDICATION

Of course! In order to run a successful business you need to put in time and dedication. If for any reason you're too busy doing other things, dedicate at least a couple of hours each day to your business. Your hard work and dedication will pay off in the end!
